CONFERENCE AGENDA:

The Arrangements Committee has planned a great event packed with information and entertainment. Click here for a streamlined agenda. The agenda is subject to change until the start of the conference.

We are looking forward to welcoming everyone at the opening event on Sunday evening: DIVERS’ ROCKABILLY BLUES FEST! You can wear your festival merch provided at registration or wear your favorite band shirt.

Some other highlights from the conference activities include:

• Dinner and a Show at the Violet Crown Cinema, on Saturday evening
  • There is an additional fee of $75.00 to attend this event.
  • There is limited seating available for this event and spaces are first come/first serve. If you register once the slots are filled, we will add you to a waiting list for changes.
• Golf Tournament on Sunday at the Old Trail Golf Course
  • To register for the golf tournament, contact Amy Johnson at awjohnson@hanovercounty.gov.
  • There is an additional fee, separate from the conference fee, of $75 to play.
• Casino Night at the Kentucky Derby on Monday evening
  • Come enjoy the  food, casino and karaoke while sporting your best Kentucky Derby outfit! Prizes will be awarded to the ladies with the Best Fascinator and men with the Most Colorful Bowtie!
• Banquet and Installation of Officers on Tuesday evening
• Breakfast with the Offices on Wednesday morning
• Hospitality Suite every evening

LODGING:

• Virginia Guesthouse Hotel and Conference Center reservation link
• Room rate is $189 per night plus tax. The rate includes the charge for parking in the adjacent parking garage.
• IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION! 
  • You are not permitted to pull up in front of the hotel and leave your car to check in and unload luggage. You must park in the garage and unload from there.
  • The parking garage is NOT connected to the hotel. You will need to park in the garage and walk over to the hotel.

REGISTRATION FEE:

The conference registration fee is $525 per attendee. A reduced fee registration is available to spouses and/or retirees for $425. PLEASE NOTE: The spouse/retiree fee is not available to CORs or staff currently employed in a locality.

• The conference gift this year is a backpack and a long sleeve t-shirt. You will select your desired size during registration.
• For anyone who has dietary needs – the committee will follow up with anyone who selects one of the options listed on the registration page. We are not able to guarantee accommodations for all dietary needs.

Registration fees can be paid by credit card through the PayPal link or by check. Checks should be made payable to the Commissioner of the Revenue Association of Virginia and mailed to either Scott Harris or Amy Johnson at PO Box 129, Hanover, VA, 23069.

If you need to pay for a portion of the fee separately, such as you are paying for the conference fee with county funds and for the early arrival event with personal funds, it is not a problem to split the payment between payment types. Multiple payments are allowed. Contact Amy Johnson with any questions about how to accomplish this.

Registration for the conference will close on August 1, 2026.
