York sent the attached letter during January 2014 which merely asked if this is still their principal residence. We also read the obits and wills from the Clerk’s Office.
We came across a situation this year where a person’s rating decreased from 100%, so we will most likely add that question to the revalidation letter next year.
There is nothing in the code that I know of that requires a revalidation, I just request it. Out of approximately 145 I have not received 2. If I do not receive a response, I will continue to qualify it until I am made aware of a change that would disqualify it.
